The Callisto Protocol - Old Colony Reforge

I had the opportunity to model and texture the Old Colony Reforge aka 3D Printer for "The Callisto Protocol". The idea here was that this machine is almost 100 years old, hence the retro-aesthetic and generous amounts of rust. This asset went through many different iterations and was continuously worked almost to the end of the game's production cycle. Modeling was done in Blender, texturing in Substance Painter, and the final decal pass and optimization was achieved in maya. We used a mid-poly workflow with custom face-weighted normals and POM decals.
