I highly doubt I'm the first person to have thought of this, but I had this idea one day of creating real paint brushstrokes and digitalizing them to be used as alphas in art software.
After buying some paint, brushes, paper, and learning the true meaning of humility by touching traditional media for the first time in years, I can say I'm pretty happy with the result! So hopefully you'll be happy with them too!
What you get:
-90 2k PNGs. Created with Sakura poster color, then carefully digitalized.
These were made with 3d texturing in mind, but i'm sure these could be useful in 2d applications as well.
Installation:
-Substance painter: Simply drag the PNGs into your asset browser.
-Photoshop: Open the PNGs and use them however you want. Turn them in to brushes, print them out and turn them into stickers. The sky is the limit.
DISCLAIMER: You can use this in any commercial application, just please do grab the appropriate license. Resale of this product is not cool though.
Updated product to now include all alphas within one zipped folder called "alphas" for an easier download experience.
